Audience Screening: Trends and Feedback

When lookig at the answers from the questionairre we learnt a lot:
* When asked if the characters we introduced clearly most said yes, although they thought that Adam (post deliverer) and the mum could've been clearly. However we were not too worried by this comment as these are not central characters to our film.

* Almost everyone understood that the key themes were revenge, hatred, betrayl and friendship, and worte down at least one of these words.

* When asked what they like about the film, what worked best a trend developed that most people really liked the interesting shots, the change of perspective and the effects we used to give our film a unique style. We were really happy with this answer as these were the things that we felt made our film differnt, so it was great that people liked them.

*When asked what they thought didn't work as well, a few of them wrote down that they found the storyline a little confusing at first as it took them a while to get their head round it. They also said that the smoking bit could be shorter. Some people said they thought the lighting was a bit dark at times, however others wrote that they really liked the lighting as it added to the mood, feel and style of our film, which is what we were aiming for.

*I was very excited to find that the majority of people said that if we were to make the rest of the film they would want to watch it. However we did spot a trend here as well, it was that the few people who said they wouldn't were all boys. This confirms our thought that our film predominantly targets girls, they are our core audience, as they all said they would watch it. Boys of the same age are our secondary audience.

* Our average mark was 8/10, which we were very happy with. The scores ranged from 6/10 - 10/10!!!

*If we were going to do another screen we would want to get people of different ages to fill out the questionairre so that we can get a better view as to whether there are any trends in opinions relating to the age of the viewer, as pretty much everyone who filled out a questionairre was 16 or 17.
